The SV85 Model was specifically engineered for controlling steam, water, gas, oil and other fluids in a variety of industrial markets.
The SV85 is a 3-way, direct acting balanced poppet solenoid valve that can be used in diverter, normally open or normally closed configurations.
Its vertical, upright mounting orientation, allows for a fail-safe position in the event of power failure.
Because balanced poppet solenoid valves are direct acting (open and close independent of the operating pressure), they are uniquely de signed to require no minimum operating pressure. In addition, this design eliminates pilot pistons and pilot holes, which can stick or be come clogged.
